Stockholm Half Marathon

Did my first Half Marathon yesterday by doing: DN Stockholm Half Marathon.
(DN is one of Sweden largest news pappers).

The weather was awesome, sunny and warm (for being Sweden).
Meet up some people before the race talked and cheered for each other.

My plan was to keep around 4:30 pace (min/km). That would result in an time of 1.35.
Had a dream of doing it under 1.30 but i'm not there yet, but never say never.

Flew away after the start, bit tight and a lot of people, but after around 1k it got better and i tried to find my pace. My problem is that i don't have so many different speeds. Was going to fast and keep looking at the watch all the time and pace me down a little. Naturally the pace droped and after around 8k I was running at planned pace. Maybe struggling bit more than i should have to.
I was really dried out, took water at every place i could find took 2 stops where i walk and drank.
Last k's i was just trying to keep my average pace bellow 4:30 and I was suffering a little but still had power to pull a really good last k. Crossed the finnish line at 01:34:00. Happy with the time and after I got my breath back I felt quite fresh. That feel good.
